So I haven't been the best at this whole blogging thing lately maybe its b/c I have a infant, maybe it's b/c school is starting in less then a week and I feel like summer just began all good reasons I know. One thing for sure it's not b/c we are boring ( well sometimes we are) I have a camera full of pictures from Dec to Aug that haven't been blogged about or even moved to my computer HA!!!! So when I came across THIS I thought it sounded like fun and something I would do and at the same time my blog would stay updated and my pictures might just go from my camera to my computer all at the same time AMAZING!!!! how simple that sounds. Maybe next I will try cooking my way through a cook book in 31 days BaHaha...........

Daegan's Baptism

How do you put into words how you feel when your child is baptized? I don't know. There are no words for that feeling......
I was overwhelmed with emotions not only was my oldest son being baptized but Trev and I attended the temple that morning to have my parents sealed together YIPPEY!!!I know these days are special for everyone in their own little ways but, really, this was one of those days that had the perfect combination of EVERYTHING......the spirit was incredible and the love and support was tremendous.
Daegan and Trev looked so handsome all dressed in white. There is nothing comparable to seeing your own child baptized and choosing to follow the Savior. I know that Daegan has a great purpose on this earth and we are so blessed that he is part of our family. The spirit was so strong as Trev confirmed Daegan surrounded by good men whom we love and are all such great examples to our family and how awesome is it that he got to share this special day with his sweet cousin Addie. Hopefully, the warm feeling and memories of this day will stay with Daegan as he continues his journey back to our loving Heavenly Father. I love Daegan with all my heart I am humbled and grateful for the trust that has been given to me and for the opportunity that I have to be his mom! ( I can't believe I have an 8 year old)That night just Daegan and I were in the car and I said so how did you feel after you were baptized. He said "oh when I came out of the water" and I said "yeah". I looked in the mirror and by the look on his face I knew he was going to say something great.His response................................................................
UH... WET!!!! with the biggest smile on his face. We were both laughing so hard. He knew I was expecting something a little more on the spiritual side. I said "Daegan" and he said "well I did" I will never forget this day or that moment.

Thanks to all those who were able to be there and make his day so GR8T!!!!!

There is something that just isn't right about someone driving around playing inciting music to get kids to run towards their vehicle for a nice cold treat. Don't we spend our life's teaching our children not to talk to strangers in a vehicle offering them a treat HELLO!!!! Am I the only PARANOID person out there that feels this way. I've shared this with my sister many times and she has assured me I'm a FREAK :)

So this is where the lie comes in. I told Ray a few weeks ago that it wasn't an Ice cream man (even though Dace was shouting yes huh it is) I assured her that it was the MUSIC VAN :0 (I know horrible) Yesterday at the park I here the "Music Van" but, never see him. I'm reading my book when I see Ray totally freeze wondering why she is staring off into the parking lot she slowly takes a few steps forward and then out of nowhere takes off on a dead run in between two cars. I ran to grab her only to see the Ice Cream Man on the other side. GRR...... and here is where my little white lie pays off. I asked her what she was doing and she said those kids where yelling for Ice cream and I went to tell them it's JUST A MUSIC CAR!!!! HA HA CREEPY ICE CREAM MAN :)
