IN MEMORY

ISN'T SHE A TOTAL BETTY

In Life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place,
That no one could ever fill

Today It has been a year since my mom passed away and up until I started writing this I didn't think today was going to be all that bad..... I miss her more than ever, but I guess it's a good thing that I don't feel that it's been that long. Mostly because I feel like I'm constantly surrounded by her not a day goes by that I don't think oh my mom did that, or that reminds me of my mom or my kids will do something off the wall that I know she is just chuckling about and I guess this way I don't even have to call her because I know she already knows. It's like I can open the door at any moment and her presence will just surround me if I'm having a bad day. And I'm greatfull for that ,otherwise I would have no idea how to cope without her. She was just amazing at everything she did and of course I wish she was still here but I understand how difficult life was for her with her cancer, her arthritis ,raising all of us kids, loosing a son, and missing her own parents. That I feel it would be unfair for me to be sad that she's gone after enduring so much. So when ever I'm sad, unsure, or loose complete faith I just try seeing myself through her eyes and know how lucky I am to have a mother like her and I know she is proud of me and thats PRICELESS...............

You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back
or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.

Your heart can be empty because you can't see her
or you can be full of the love you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she's gone
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and live on.

Cole's Blessing

Jacq & Cole

This weekend we went to Logan for my nephews baby blessing. He is such a cute little guy and my little sis is such a good mother to her 3 adorable kids. I wish they lived closer so we could play more often. But it was sure fun to go up there since they are always the ones to come down, And we got to see their new house they just bought they will move in July once they remodel the kitchen Thanks Jacq for having us up.

Girls Night/ Sleepover

Last Night all the girls on T side of the family got together for our annual Mothers Day. It was so much fun not to mention great food YUMMY. T's mom and her sisters make me laugh their conversations and mass confusion are definitely priceless....My little lady attended the event being that the boys left for the sand dunes camping. She is such a little chatter box and likes to often express how cute the things she has on are My cute jacket, My cute shoes, My cute pants and the list goes on. Yes she may be a little boastful about herself, but i love being with her she makes my day and is my "best friend forever and ever. " Last night I told her we could have a sleepover in my bed. We got home and got her ready for bed and she took off towards my bed and said I need up. Lets just say i don't think that will happen again for awhile. We struggled on who's side was who's she ran and jumped around for at least 45 min and it was already midnight. I finally told her I was going to bed and she got in my face and said "OH TAY" and was right back at it at 6:00 this morning bad idea.....but we had a good time and I'm excited for the journal that was given to us after loosing my parents I know how important it is to record your memories and just your day to day life in writing and just not in pictures. I love you girls and am thankful that we do this each year.
